I just came back from the cinema... No need say what I watched...
I
AM
SPEECHLESS!
Holy shit, my flatmates were crying there eyeballs out at the Snape scene. Who knew Snape was on the good side from the beginning?!
Of course, I read the book. But that was before the Part 1 came out which was last November.
When I finished Part 1, I was not satisfied with the cliffhanger. Although is was 2.5 hours, it felt like 3 minutes. But Part 2 was different. It was only 2 hours but it felt like 3 hours. It was packed with action but it wasn't all about action. The story line was still there and there was also humour. I am very satisfied with how they directed it. And, of course, kudos to JK Rowling.
HAHAHA! I am a complete goof! I saw the first three? movies and vaguely remember someone called Snape. Please explain why you were surprised. I guess you need to explain the plot for me to understand.
ReplyDeleteIt seems as though you have a lot of friends to hang out with....must be nice! How is it different from N-die?
The story isn't simple enough to explain in a blog comment!! Have you seen how thick the books are!?
ReplyDeleteWell basically Snape loved Lily Potter(Harry's mum) since he was a kid and was devastated when Voldemort killed Harry's parents. Dumbledore told Snape to protect Harry but both Dumbledore and Snape knew that Harry had to die in the end. Dumbledore owned the elder wand until he died which is the most powerful wand in the world and also is one of the deathly hallows. Dumbledore told Snape that it was Snape who had to kill Dumbledore because it whould mean that Snape will gain Voldemort's trust and be able to own the elder wand. Snape was already (sort of but not really) Voldemort's servant so killing Dumbledore was the final push to get Voldemort to trust Snape.
After Snape killed Dumbledore in HP and the Half Blood Prince, Voldemort thought that the elder wand was Snape's and ended up killing Snape in last night's movie, but in reality, it was Draco Malfoy that disarmed Dumbledore in the first place, so in fact it wasn't Snape who owned the wand, it was Draco's.
The Snape scene was very emotional because we got to see how Snape actually cared for Lily and Harry but nobody except Dumbledore knew it. And it was more touching because Alan Rickman's acting was so good.
You better read all the books and watch all the movies because you will be missing out on one of the best things that can happen in your life. For real.
Yes I have more friends than in Nichidai mainly because we live close and most people are willing to make friends unlike in nichidai, it's all about studying. And we only have 4 hours of class a day so we have lots of time for ourselves (although we have homeworks).
ReplyDeleteBut I think it's easier to make close friends with people of the same nationality(Chineses stick together)/ethnicity(like people from Arabic countries). As I'm not neither Chinese nor Arabic, I find it hard to find a close friend. So I just have fun at the gym. :/ Not that I mind it, it's just that it would be nice to have a close friend.
